Cutting systems for combine headers

Strong cutting systems for all combine harvesters

Gebr. Schumacher GmbH offers systems and components for combine harvester cutting systems. Thanks to its many years of experience and a high level of innovation, this owner-operated family company has become the worldwide market leader for crop lifters, cutting systems and reels.

Ensuring a successful harvest, starting with the first step of cutting the crops, has been the company’s main goal ever since it was founded in 1968. Today, the Gebr. Schumacher headquarters in Eichelhardt (Altenkirchen district), Rhineland-Palatinate, manufacture the core components for a wide variety of cutting-unit and combine manufacturers worldwide.

Cutting solutions for headers

The standards for harvesting technology differ for the world’s various harvest regions. In order to make sure our customers can harvest their crops efficiently, we offer tailored cutting solutions for harvesting soy, grains and rice. We developed a roller guide to handle the increased potential output of larger harvesting machines. That allows us to compensate for the greater stress on cutting systems due to vibrations and tensile force, particularly for cutting units between 6.00 and 10.00 meters, and to facilitate safe, steady blade guidance.

Out in front for harvesting

It’s not just where our products are placed during the harvest – it’s also our philosophy. With innovative products, the highest quality and comprehensive service, we provide our customers and partners with the best cutting technology for the highest performance standards. More than 300 patents demonstrate our innovative strength as a cutting-unit specialist.
